South Grid Energy Storage announced on September 25 that it had signed the "Cooperation Agreement on Promoting Yongsheng Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Lijiang" with the People's Government of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. Both parties intend to jointly implement the requirements of the state to accelerate the construction of key energy projects and promote the development and construction of Yongsheng Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Lijiang.

It is reported that the project site is located in Yongsheng County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is a national medium and long-term planning project. The initial planned installed capacity is 1.8 million kilowatts, and the static investment of the project is about 9 billion yuan.
