SMM steel reported on September 21st that the total inventory of hot-rolled coils this week was 3.6685 million tons, an increase of 59,000 tons from last week, a year-on-year increase of 17.49%. Hot-rolled coils returned to the accumulation rhythm of cumulative inventory, with small accumulation in social warehouses and enlarged accumulation in plant warehouses. On the supply side, the output of hot-rolled coils increased on a month-on-month basis this week. On the demand side, transactions were still acceptable at the beginning of the week, but transactions weakened again in the second half of the week, and the situation of replenishment before the festival was unclear, and social inventory accumulated slightly.
