SHANGHAI, Sep 19 (SMM) - In Tianjin, #0 zinc ingot was mostly traded at 22040~22350 yuan/mt, Zijin zinc 22140~22420 yuan/mt, and Huludao zinc 26780 yuan/mt. In terms of premium/discount, #0 zinc was quoted with premiums of 350~430 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 contract, Zijin zinc 450~500 yuan/mt, and 130 yuan/mt over Shanghai prices.
As of noon of September 19, spot premiums of ordinary brand Chihong stood at 350~430 yuan/mt over SHFE 2310 zinc contract, with not quotes for Hongye and Bailing zinc. Premiums of Xinzi were 350 yuan/mt, Tiefeng 350 yuan/mt, Kazakhstan zinc 180 yuan/mt (delivery in warehouse), and high-priced brand Zijin 520~550 yuan/mt. Market opinions diverged, with large differences in market quotations. Affected by the arrivals of Zijin zinc, Zijin brand premiums were slightly reduced, but the overall premium was still relatively strong. Overall trading was quiet. #1 zinc ingot prices were 21840~22120 yuan/mt today.
