Recently, the imported ore screening project of Rizhao Port in Shanxi Jianbang officially put into operation. This is the first automated iron ore closed screening project of the national coastal port jointly constructed by Rizhao Port and Shanxi Jianbang and BHP Billiton, and also the first storage and mixing project put into operation in the "three storage and three mixing" project planned by Rizhao City. The project is located in the east area of Shi Jiu Port Area of Rizhao Port, adjacent to the ore process yard, and connected with the ore yard in the east area through belt conveyor. The project covers an area of 35 mu, leased port land by the joint venture company Shan Gang Chang Rui Da Mining Industry, and built four sets of ore screening systems. It can process 15 million tons of imported iron ore blocks per year, with a maximum processing capacity of 7500 tons/hour. The project gives full play to the hub role of upstream linkage mines and downstream cooperation with steel mills, and provides comprehensive services such as ore screening, selection and mixing to extend the supply chain, so as to turn the port resources and hub advantages into economic flow and industrial increment of high quality development.
