Shanghai: Continue to implement new energy vehicle replacement subsidies, while adjusting the subsidy scope and standards

The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Development and Reform issued a notice on adjusting some contents of the Shanghai Implementation Rules for Subsidies to Promote Automobile Consumption (hereinafter referred to as “the Rules”). New energy vehicle replacement subsidies will continue to be implemented, and some of the contents of the Rules are now adjusted. It mentioned that the scope and standards of subsidies are adjusted. From June 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023, individual users scrap or transfer non-commercial passenger cars registered in Shanghai under their own names (excluding change registration), and purchase a new pure electric passenger car from an automobile sales agency registered in Shanghai can obtain a one-time car purchase subsidy of 10,000 yuan.
