On September 12, the 4th Belt and Road Tax Administration Cooperation Forum opened in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Wang Jun, director of the State Administration of Taxation of China, put forward three initiatives to further optimize the tax business environment and promote the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. The first is to firmly embrace the digital trend and improve precise collection and management capabilities. We will continue to accelerate the in-depth integration of digital technology and taxation business, further promote the aggregation and connection of internal and external tax-related data, and the organic connection of online and offline services, and promote the optimization of the tax business environment while continuously improving the ability of precise collection and management. The second is to firmly follow the path of innovation and strengthen the endogenous power of development. Besides, we should also give full play to and expand the role of taxation functions to provide all-round, full-cycle, and full-chain tax support for technological innovation as well as to create a tax business environment that further activates the endogenous driving force for development. The third is to firmly deepen open cooperation and build synergy for joint construction and sharing.
