On September 5th, Huamin announced that its controlling subsidiary Hongxin New Energy Technology (Yunnan) Co., Ltd. had signed a "Monocrystalline Silicon Wafer Purchase and Sale Framework Contract" with Zhengtai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with an estimated total purchase of about 15GW of monocrystalline silicon wafers for a total period of three years from September 1st, 2023 to August 31st, 2026, with the sales price determined by monthly negotiation.

According to the current market price of monocrystalline silicon wafers and the purchase quantity stipulated in the contract, the total amount of the contract is estimated to be 6.3 billion yuan.

This is the third major monocrystalline silicon wafer order that Huamin has won since mid-August. The expected purchase scale of the two previous orders was 5.5 billion yuan and 4.4 billion yuan respectively. The total purchase scale of the three orders may reach 16.2 billion yuan.
