On September 4, China City DaYou Industrial Group Co., Ltd. successfully signed with Shenchu Guoneng (Gansu) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenchu Guoneng (Jiayuguan) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. for the Jiayuguan deep cold liquid air energy storage project and its supporting photovoltaic project in Shenzhen, Guangdong.

It is reported that Shenchu Guoneng (Jiayuguan) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. owns the Jiayuguan 500MW deep cold liquid air energy storage project, a new energy storage demonstration project. It has obtained the "Gansu Province Investment Project Credit Record Certificate" on July 20, 2023, with a total investment of 4,875 million yuan and a total scale of 500MW/2500MWh. The first phase construction scale is 200MW/1000MWh, and the second phase construction scale is 300MW/1500MWh. The project is equipped with a 200MW photovoltaic project.
