On September 5, China An Energy Storage announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that its indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangsu Heng'an Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. recently signed a purchase contract with a customer.

According to the contract, Jiangsu Heng'an agreed to sell and the customer agreed to purchase 200MW/800MWh zinc-bromine flow battery. Jiangsu Heng'an expects to start production of energy storage batteries in early 2024. The energy storage batteries will be delivered to the customer in installments according to the purchase contract before 2024 and the purchase contract is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
