The Ministry of Finance and the Emergency Management Department urgently allocated 200 million yuan of central natural disaster relief funds on the 4th, to support Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangxi, Hainan and other 5 provinces (regions) to do a good job in flood prevention and typhoon emergency relief work. The local governments should coordinate the use of funds for emergency rescue and assistance to the affected people, focus on emergency disposal such as searching and transferring and relocating affected people, carrying out secondary disaster hazard investigation and emergency treatment, and repairing damaged houses. The Ministry of Finance requires provincial financial departments to timely allocate central financial subsidies, strengthen fund supervision, give full play to the effectiveness of funds, put the safety of people's lives and property first, and minimize casualties and property losses.
