Recently, the People's Government of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, issued the "Baotou City Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Plan (2023-2030)". It clearly states the goal: by the end of 2030, the city's green hydrogen production capacity will reach 200,000 tons. Vehicle enterprises will achieve an annual production of 3,000 hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks, 1,000 passenger cars and logistics vehicles. In terms of application and promotion, by the end of 2030, the number of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will exceed 5,000, and hydrogen refueling stations (including joint construction stations) will reach about 30.

Baotou Hydrogen Energy Industry Layout: build two major green hydrogen supply bases, layout three industrial clusters, construct six application demonstration zones, promote multi-point linkage and integration, and strive to create a "Grassland Hydrogen City".
