SMM: August electrolytic aluminum production is expected to increase by 3.5% year-on-year. With the advancement and completion of electrolytic aluminum restart work in Yunnan Province, the domestic electrolytic aluminum operating capacity has been restored to a higher level than that in the second quarter. At present, the total restart scale of mainstream aluminum plants in Yunnan Province has reached 1.8 million tons. At present, the total operating capacity in Yunnan Province is about 5.49 million tons, and there are still 130,000 tons of restart capacity and 160,000 tons of transferred capacity to be put into production. There is no major change in the capacity of other regions in August. As of now, the domestic electrolytic aluminum operating capacity is close to 42.76 million tons. According to the preliminary calculation of SMM, the total output of domestic electrolytic aluminum in August (31 days) is 3.61 million tons, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year. The preliminary estimate of the current daily output of domestic electrolytic aluminum is about 116,000 tons, of which the daily ingot output is about 31,000 tons.

신장 보위안 알루미늄 유한공사는 연산 15만 톤 규모의 신형 알루미늄 반제품 프로젝트 건설을 전력으로 추진하고 있다. 신장 준둥 경제기술개발구 화샤오산 알루미늄 다운스트림 산업단지에 위치한 이 프로젝트는 총투자 1억 8천만 위안, 부지 면적 64무이다. 총 건축 면적 2만 3천 제곱미터의 표준화 생산 작업장 2개 동을 건설할 계획이다. 생산 라인 구성 측면에서 이 프로젝트는 알루미늄 봉 생산 라인 2개, 주조 압연 알루미늄 코일·스트립 생산 라인 8개, 냉간 압연 알루미늄 코일·스트립 생산 라인 1개를 갖추게 된다. 프로젝트가 전면 완공되어 가동되면 연간 알루미늄 선 6만 톤, 알루미늄 코일 9만 톤의 생산 능력을 갖출 것으로 예상된다.
