Electrolyte Prices At Downside Risk

SHANGHAI, Aug 29 (SMM) –The price of electrolyte has slightly decreased in the week ending August 24. On the demand side, the overall demand for electrolyte from battery cells remained relatively stable with limited incremental demand. On the supply side, there was sufficient supply of raw materials, and electrolyte companies were organizing production as per orders. In terms of costs, after a period of decline, the price of the core raw material for electrolyte, lithium hexafluorophosphate, has stabilized. Recently, electrolyte companies have been negotiating new order prices with battery cell manufacturers, and some indicative prices have shown a downward trend. It is expected that electrolyte prices will remain stable in the coming week, with a possibility of slight downward adjustment.
