Steel mill coke inventories have come to a reasonable range, and the coke market has weakened again. From the perspective of profitability, the ton of coke profit remained unchanged this week, and most coke companies were still profitable with high production enthusiasm and increased supply. From the perspective of inventory, the coke inventory of Shanxi coke companies changed little this week, downstream purchasing according to demand, and coke companies did not accumulate inventory. Subsequent coke company profits may narrow, but short-term coke inventories may remain low, and coke companies will not immediately change their production strategies. The utilization rate of coke furnaces of coke companies next week may be temporarily stable.
