Shanghai Issued Action Plan for Improving the Energy Level of Shipping Service Industry

On July 21, the Action Plan for Improving the Energy Level of Shipping Service Industry in Shanghai and Helping the Construction of an International Shipping Centre was officially released.

The action plan proposes to make breakthroughs in key technologies such as the overall design of smart ships, intelligent perception, independent decision-making and collaborative control, and improve the R&D, design, inspection and certification service capabilities of green smart ship products and systems; implement special projects for low-carbon and zero-carbon ship products; build a world-class cruise ship design, manufacture and final assembly base, to cultivate local cruise ship supporting supply chains and other content.
