The China Coal Transport and Distribution Association: In the early July, with the seasonal demand for coal increasing, coal enterprises accelerated the release of advanced coal production capacity and increased coal production. The monitoring of coal production, sales and transportation of coal enterprises has obviously increased. In terms of downstream demand by industry, in the early July, the temperature in many places exceeded 40°C, the electricity load increased significantly, the water shortage limited the output of hydroelectric power, and the thermal power generation continued to increase rapidly. The profit of steel mills improved, the blast furnace start-up rate rose, the output of pig iron was higher than the same period of last year, and the coal consumption of key coking enterprises was slightly reduced. The inventory of coal production areas and transit ports decreased, and the inventory of steel and coking enterprises users increased. Domestic and foreign coal prices fluctuated and adjusted.
