Polysilicon Price Review Last Week

Last week, the price of Recharging Polysilicon ranged from 68-72 yuan/kg, while that of Dense Polysilicon has varied between 65-69 yuan/kg. There has been a rebound in polysilicon prices, and with the intensified purchasing efforts downstream, polysilicon stocks are continually reducing, now totalling less than 50,000 mt.

This downward trend in inventory is further fuelled by the entrance of some traders into the market, which has markedly boosted the morale among polysilicon producers to shore up the market. Simultaneously, the mounting downstream demand for higher conversion efficiency has led to an increased preference for N-type products, thereby widening the price differential between N and P type polysilicon.
