Solar Cell Prices Were Stable Last Week

Solar cell prices were stable last week. In terms of different specifications, the supply of PERC166 cells was tight, and the price has recently been higher than that of PERC182 mm and 210 mm cells. High-efficiency PERC182 mm cells were in high demand and the price has stabilised at 0.7 yuan/W.

The high inventory of PERC 210 mm cells has eased, and the price difference with PERC182 mm cells has narrowed. Topcon 182 mm cells still had a high premium, and the price adjustment was more flexible, with a gross profit margin of more than 26%. Cell shipments increased last week. Due to expected increase in battery demand in July, some manufacturers with low inventories intended to raise prices. But due to the rise in silicon wafer inventories, their prices may decline. This will weigh on cell prices.
