Hangzhou to Fully Promote Urban Renewal from June 12

The Implementation Opinion of the General Office of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government on Comprehensively Promoting Urban Renewal was released, which will come into effect on June 12, 2023 and will be valid until December 31, 2035. By 2023, an urban renewal system with Hangzhou characteristics will be basically formed, and a number of replicable and replicable urban renewal pilot projects will be created. By 2025, a series of urban renewal achievements and implementation models will be formed, and a number of landmark urban renewal demonstration projects will be organised. By 2035, urban planning, construction and governance will be comprehensively improved around the goals of urban livability, resilience and wisdom, and an urban renewal example of high-quality sustainable development will be established for the whole urban cycle.
