Retail Sales of New Energy Vehicles in China Jumped in April from a Year Ago

According to CPCA, the retail sales of new energy vehicles stood at 527,000 in April, an increase of 85.6% year on year but a month-on-month decline of 3.6%.

YTD retail sales through April totalled 1.84 million, up 36.0% on the year.

In April, the domestic retail penetration rate of new energy vehicles was 32.3%, an increase of 6.6 percentage points from the 25.7% penetration rate in the same period last year.
