Listing prices of Northern Rare Earth Fall greatly

SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) - On May 5, Northern Rare Earth announced the listing prices of rare earth products in May 2023, which have dropped significantly. Prices of lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide were quoted at 9,800 yuan/mt, which were the same as that in April 2023. PrNd oxide prices stood at 495,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 144,000 yuan/mt or 22.54% from April; PrNd metal 610,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 172,500 yuan/mt or 22.04% from April; neodymium oxide 511,700 yuan/mt, a decrease of 194,100 yuan/mt or 27.5%; neodymium metal 630,000 yuan/mt, a decrease of 232,500 yuan/mt or 26.96%.
