Orders For New Energy Vehicles To Improve Significantly in Late April, Partly Boosted by Shanghai International Auto Show

Tianfeng Securities’s Research Report pointed out that a lot of Chinese local brands and electric car start-ups unveiled their new models at the Shanghai Auto Show (April 18-27), which may boost NEV sales. With more affordable new models launching pre-sale, orders have improved during the week.

The wave of price cuts in March has basically come to an end. Consumers' wait-and-see mood is expected to gradually ease with the launch of new models, and orders in late April are expected to improve.

In terms of delivery, car delivery slowed down in the third week of April due to ramp-up of new car models. However, the total delivery this month is expected to improve from March.
