Polysilicon Prices to Fall Further

SHANGHAI, Apr 28 (SMM) - The prices of polysilicon trended lower this week. Recharging and dense polysilicon prices moved between 173-185 yuan/kg and 170-182 yuan/kg respectively. Polysilicon quotes dropped further in a new round of order signing later this week, which was caused by the growing polysilicon inventory of up to 91,000 mt in April. Daqo, who held the highest polysilicon stocks, cut the quotes to 170 yuan/kg. The bearish sentiment filled the market, and SMM believes that polysilicon prices will fall further.
