SHANGHAI, Apr 25 (SMM) – The replacement demand for lead-acid battery was sluggish last week. Sales promotions in the battery wholesale market intensified across many regions. In particular, the offers of mainstream 48v20Ah e-bike lead-acid battery were cut to 360-380 yuan/set, and even 350 yuan/set in some cases. The automotive lead-acid battery market was also lacklustre, with manufacturers generally running at just 60-80% of their capacity. Lead prices fluctuated at a high level during the week and fell back in the second half of the week, while lead-acid battery makers restocked as needed.
