Rare earth concentrate prices weakened last week. During the week, the prices of rare earth carbonate fell from 41,800- 42,100 yuan/mt two Fridays ago to 39,300- 39,700 yuan/mt last Friday, a drop of 5.8%; medium-yttrium, europium-rich ore prices fell from 231,000-233,000 yuan/mt to 216,000-218,000 yuan/mt, a drop of 6.5%.
As prices of praseodymium, neodymium, dysprosium and terbium fell across the board last week, the prices of rare earth concentrates also declined to varying degrees.
The prices of medium and heavy rare earths fell rapidly last week, and the prices of medium-yttrium, europium-rich ore also plunged.
