Finished Products Inventory at Secondary Lead Smelters Held Flat

According to SMM survey, the inventory of finished products at secondary lead smelters totalled 27,600 mt last week, flat from the previous week. Raw material inventory of enterprises in the sample stood at 181,500 mt, down 15,200 mt. As domestic demand for lead-acid battery replacement gradually enters the off-season, secondary lead smelting companies reported low availability of battery scrap.

The tight supply of battery scrap will also gradually affect the production of secondary lead smelting enterprises.
