February Sales of New Energy Vehicles With Insurance Increased Rapidly

SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) - According to SMM, the number of new energy passenger vehicles insured in February was 450,000, a year-on-year increase of 84% and a month-on-month increase of 56%. The month-on-month increase was mainly owing to the resumption of traders after the Chinese New Year holiday and the sharp price cuts offered by some new energy vehicle companies. With the successive introduction of policies to promote the consumption of new energy vehicles and the price cuts offered by the car companies, the demand and sales of new energy vehicles are expected to increase further.
