Ample Supply to Weigh on Aluminium Fluoride Prices

SHANGHAI, Apr 3 (SMM) – SMM aluminium fluoride prices lost 1.55% from a week ago to 9,000-10,000 yuan/mt last week.

In terms of raw materials, fluorite prices rose due to tightening safety checks on mines in the wake of a major mine collapse accident.

Aluminium fluoride supply increased with the resumption of production, but demand sagged sharply as a result of output cuts by aluminium smelters in Yunnan. Abundant supply will leave aluminium fluoride prices vulnerable to decline this week.
