Global Iron Ore Shipments Fell 3.4% Week-on-Week to 30.01 Million mt during March 18-24

SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 30.01 million mt in the week ending March 24, a decrease of 3.4% week-on-week.

The five major mining companies shipped a combined 21.72 million mt of iron ore last week, an increase of 735,000 mt from a week earlier.

Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports increased 23.83% on a weekly basis to 26.03 million mt last week.
