China Rebar Stocks down 1.8% on Week (Mar 23)

SHANGHAI, Mar 23 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 10.65 million mt as of March 23, down 197,200 mt or 1.8% from a week ago, and down 11.9% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 7.62 million mt, down 193,000 mt or 2.47% on the week, and a drop of 15.1% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 3.03 million mt, down 42,000 mt or 0.1% on the week, and down 2.7% on the year.
