Installed Capacity of Power Generation Totalled 2.6 Billion Kilowatts in Feb

SHANGHAI, Mar 22 (SMM) - As of the end of February, the installed capacity of power generation stood at 2.6 billion kilowatts, up 8.5% year-on-year. The installed capacity of wind power generation stood at approximately 370 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 11.0%. The installed capacity of solar power generation stood at approximately 410 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 30.8%. The investment in major photovoltaic power generation projects was 67.6 billion yuan in January-February, a year-on-year increase of 43.6%. Among them, the amount in nuclear power was 8.7 trillion yuan, an increase of 44.8% YoY, and that in solar power was 28.3 trillion yuan, a growth of 199.9% YoY. Completed investment in power grids was 31.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%.
