SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (SMM) - LME cash to three month lead contract opened at $2,081.5/mt last week and rose at the beginning of last week. However, lead prices fell as the market expected the Fed's interest rate to reach 5.5% after the chairman of the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank of the United States made hawkish remark last Thursday. As of 3:00 p.m. Beijing time last Friday, the LME lead contract stood at $2,112.5/mt, up 1.49% on the week.
