Operating Rates of Licensed Secondary Lead Smelters in China’s Three Major Regions Rose Sharply

SHANGHAI, Mar 6 (SMM) – The operating rates of licensed secondary lead smelters across Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Inner Mongolia averaged 46.44% last week, up 4.73 percentage points on the week. The increase was mainly contributed by smelters in Anhui and Henan. The operating rates mainly reflected the production situation in Anhui, Henan, Jiangsu and Inner Mongolia, and should not be seen as an indication of operating rate levels across the entire country.
