China Rebar Stocks Down 1.2% on Week

SHANGHAI, Mar 2 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 11.83 million mt as of March 2, down 148,200 mt or 1.2% from a week ago, and down 3.0% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 8.29 million mt, down 51,700 mt or 0.62% on the week, and a drop of 10.3% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 3.54 million mt, down 96,400 mt or 2.7% on the week, and up 19.4% on the year.
