Cold-Rolled Coil Output to Fall as Three Chinese Stainless Steel Mills Plan to Overhaul

SHANGHAI, Feb 28 (SMM) - According to SMM research, a cold-rolled coil factory in south China started a one-week production suspension for maintenance today, which is expected to cut the #201 stainless steel output by 11,200 mt. Affected by the shortage of raw materials, a cold-rolled coil mill in Yangjiang started maintenance for one week today, which is expected to reduce the output of cold-rolled coil, especially #201 stainless steel, by 14,000 mt. Besides, a cold-rolled coil factory in Zhaoqing may also shut down for maintenance for about a week, which will reduce the cold-rolled coil output by 10,400 mt.
