On February 27, premiums of Jinchuan nickel stood at 5,500-6,000 yuan/mt, with an average of 5,750 yuan/mt, 400 yuan/mt lower than the previous trading day.
Those of Nornickel nickel premium were 3,400-3,800 yuan/mt, with an average of 3,600 yuan/mt, down 300 yuan/mt from the previous trading day.
Weak demand and the month-end caused SHFE nickel and spot qutoes to fall further. Trading was subdued today.
In terms of nickel briquette, the prices were 200,400-202,100 yuan/mt, down 650 yuan/mt. Spot transaction is weak.
