Most Traded SHFE Lead Contract Change to SHFE 2304 Contract

SHANGHAI, Feb 23 (SMM) - The trade volume of SHFE 2303 lead contract was 27,520 lots and the open interest was 18,124 lots. The trade volume of SHFE 2304 lead contract was 54,975 lots and the open interest was 55,593 lots. The most traded SHFE lead contract changed to SHFE 2304 contract.

The most traded SHFE 2304 lead contract opened at 15,440 yuan/mt last night, hitting the lowest point at 15,320 yuan/mt, and closed at 15,345 yuan/mt, down 0.58% SHFE lead fell after surging and cargo holders shipped actively. During the period, some cargo holders expanded the discounts. The discounts in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai have not changed significantly, and downstream companies maintain rigid purchases. Although the inquiries were slightly better than yesterday, the actual transactions picked up only slightly. The Federal Reserve’s interest rate hike remarks are fermenting, combined with insufficient spot consumption, short-term lead prices may move rangebound.
