The latest PPP data, in January, there were 27 new projects entering the database, with an investment amount of 46.06 billion yuan. As of February 21, there were a total of 10,396 projects in the national PPP management database, with a total investment of about 16.97 trillion yuan. Zhang Yiqun, deputy director of the Performance Management Special Committee of the Chinese Society for Fiscal Sciences, said in an interview with reporters that PPP is the main form for the government to expand infrastructure investment. Government investment mainly reflects the direction and expectations, while social investment mainly reflects investment participation and market confidence. The two complement each other and together constitute the PPP investment. In the context of the overall improvement and recovery of China's economy this year, it is expected that PPP investment will complement special bond investment and jointly drive investment growth.
