China Rebar Stocks up 3.8% on Week

SHANGHAI, Feb 16 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 12.11 million mt as of Thursday February 16, up 448,400 mt or 3.8% from a week ago, and down 1.1% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 8.3 million mt, up 262,800 mt or 3.27% on the week, and a drop of 7.5% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 3.81 million mt, up 185,600 mt or 5.1% on the week, and up 16.7% on the year.
