[aluminum stocks continue to decline to a 15-year low] data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed that aluminum stocks rose to 990550 tons on December 15, an one-month high, and then stocks entered the downward channel again, with the latest inventory level at 775475 tons, falling to the lowest level in nearly 15 years. Data released last week showed that Shanghai aluminium inventories continued to decline before the holiday, falling for five consecutive weeks. In the week of January 28, Shanghai aluminum weekly inventory fell 5.59 per cent to 266906 tonnes, a new low in more than three months.
