German Nano and Yiwei Lithium Energy Co-build Lithium Iron Phosphate Project] on the morning of March 31, the launching ceremony of the "100000 tons annual Lithium Iron Phosphate production Base Project" jointly built by German Nano and Yiwei Lithium Energy was held in Qujing Economic Development District. The investment estimate of the project is about 2 billion yuan. After the project reaches production, the annual output value is not less than 4.2 billion yuan.

According to Qujing Economic Development Zone, on the morning of March 31, the opening ceremony of the "annual production base project of 100000 tons of lithium iron phosphate" jointly built by German Nano (300769) and Yiwei LiNeng (300014) was held in Qujing Economic Development District.

Before the opening ceremony, the German Nano and Qujing Economic Development Zone signed an annual production base project of 150000 tons of lithium iron phosphate. After the signing of the contract, the opening ceremony of the production project with an annual output of 100000 tons of lithium iron phosphate was held immediately. The investment estimate of the project is about 2 billion yuan. After the project reaches production, the annual output value is not less than 4.2 billion yuan, about 2000 people are employed, and the annual tax revenue is not less than 500 million yuan.

Kong Lingyong, chairman of German Nano, said that the joint venture project combines the technological and management advantages of Yiwei LiNeng and German Nano, effectively improve the current situation of the shortage of lithium iron phosphate products, fully tap the potential capabilities of both sides of the joint venture, and realize the combination of strong and strong.

Liu Jincheng, chairman of Yiwei Lithium Energy, also said that after more than 20 years of efforts, the company has a comprehensive solution for power batteries and mastered the core technologies of lithium primary batteries, lithium-ion batteries and power batteries. Among them, lithium iron phosphate battery has been widely used in new energy bus, new energy ship, energy storage and other fields. This joint venture project is the first project for Yiwei Lithium Energy and German Nano to set up a joint venture. The project integrates the advantageous resources of Yiwei Lithium Energy and German Nano. It is a deep cooperation in the industrial supply chain, which is conducive to Yiwei Lithium to stabilize the supply of raw materials, enhance its core competitiveness, and promote the development and growth of German Lithium and German Lithium.

It is understood that with the development of new energy vehicle customers in the European market and the domestic market, the production capacity of Yiwei lithium power battery has been expanding since the beginning of this year.

On the evening of February 19th, Yiwei LiNeng announced that Huizhou Yiwei Power intends to invest its own and self-raised funds in the construction of "passenger car Lithium Ion Power Battery Project (Phase I)" and "xHEV Battery system Project (Phase I)", with an investment of no more than 1 billion yuan and 2.6 billion yuan respectively. Among them, passenger car lithium-ion power battery project (phase I) project content is square lithium iron phosphate cell and module; xHEV battery system project (phase I) project content is 12V and 48V battery system. Huizhou Yiwei Power's investment mainly meets the supporting needs of customers such as international well-known car companies and domestic car-building new forces.

On the evening of March 10th, Yiwei LiNeng announced that Huizhou Yiwei Power Battery Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company, plans to invest its own and self-raised funds in the construction of the "passenger car Lithium Ion Power Battery Project (Phase II)" with an investment of no more than 3.9 billion yuan. The construction content of the second phase of the project is square lithium iron phosphate battery, the construction period is not more than 18 months, covering an area of about 175 mu. The company said that this investment will further increase the scale of the company's power battery production capacity.

According to a research report released by Everbright Securities, the new production capacity of the above two projects, together with the capacity under construction and planning of Yiwei Lithium Energy, will reach 32 GWH, which translates to about 70,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode. The co-construction capacity with the leading German side of lithium iron phosphate will stabilize the supply of raw materials, reduce procurement costs, and help improve the production capacity of iron-lithium batteries in the company's passenger cars. The company's previous iron-lithium customers were mainly domestic commercial vehicle customers and communication energy storage customers, and invested in the iron-lithium passenger car project, which marked the company's successful entry into the iron-lithium passenger car market, and the business scale is expected to grow significantly.

In addition to Yiwei LiNeng, on January 18 this year, German Nano, together with Ningde Times, signed an investment agreement with the people's Government of Jiang'an County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province to invest in the construction of a "lithium iron phosphate project with an annual production capacity of 80,000 tons." the total investment of the project is about 1.8 billion yuan, which is divided into two phases of construction, with a total construction period of 36 months.
