Recently, AVZ Minerals and GFL International (, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ganfeng Lithium Industry, signed an off-take agreement for lithium concentrate for a period of five years, of which GFL has the option to extend the supply of lithium concentrate for up to 160000 tons per year, which will account for 30% of the initial production capacity of the Manono lithium-tin project.
The final feasibility study of the project in 2020 estimates that the project will produce about 700000 tons / year of high-grade lithium and 45,475 tons / year of primary lithium sulfate over a 20-year mine life.
