SMM: November 21, Qingshan Industrial and Zhejiang Jiashan County reached a Shanghai Lanjun 16Gwh lithium battery project signed, is expected to start construction by the end of the year.
According to the agreement, Shanghai Lanjun plans to build an annual R & D, production and sales base for 16Gwh lithium-ion battery cells and modules in Jiashan Economic Development Zone, and to set up Lanjun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. China regional headquarters and lithium-ion battery research institute, with a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan.
It is understood that Castle Peak Industry is the world's largest manufacturer of stainless steel and nickel metal, with a revenue of 262.6 billion yuan in 2019 and ranked 329th among the 2020 Fortune 500.
