14일 업계에 따르면 구글과 미국 재생에너지 독립발전사업자 사이프러스 크릭 에너지(CCE)는 14일(현지시간) 미국에서 스틸리버에너지센터 프로젝트를 개발한다고 발표했다. 양사는 2029년까지 초기 2GWh 규모의 ESS 시스템을 구축하고 이후 용량을 2.9GWh로 확장할 계획이다. 이 프로젝트에는 LG에너지솔루션의 배터리가 사용될 예정이며 수주 금액은 수천억 원대로 추정된다. LG에너지솔루션은 북미에서 생산한 LFP 기반 ESS 제품인 JF2 DC Link를 공급한다.
