9월 8일, Core Lithium은 노던 준주에 있는 재가동된 Finniss 가공 공장에서 첫 스포듀민 정광을 생산하며 단계적 운영 재개의 이정표를 세웠다. Core Lithium은 5월에 Grants 노천광에서 채굴을 재개했고, 8월에는 가공을 위한 충분한 파쇄 광석 비축량을 확보하기 위해 파쇄 회로를 재가동했다. Finniss 재개를 진행하기로 한 최종 투자 결정 이후 6개월 만에 첫 정광이 생산되었다. 회사는 가공 회로의 병목 현상을 해소하고 회수율을 최적화하기 위해 스크린 정비, 롤 크러셔 성능 개선, 페로실리콘 분배 시스템 개선 등 선별적 업그레이드를 단행했다. 파쇄 및 중액 선별 공정은 단일 제어실로 통합되었다. 이러한 업그레이드를 통해 공장 처리 능력이 약 20% 증가하여 연간 120만 톤에 이를 것으로 예상된다. Finniss는 2023년 2월에 첫 스포듀민 정광 생산을 시작했으나, 리튬 가격 하락으로 2024년 중반에 유지·보수 상태에 들어갔다. 이후 이 프로젝트는 광산 수명 20년, 연간 평균 생산량 21만 4천 톤의 저비용·장수명 운영 방식으로 재편되었다. Finniss는 서호주 외 지역에서 운영되는 유일한 대규모 경암 리튬 광산이다.
