Reduced supplies lower primary aluminium social stocks

SHANGHAI, Nov 5 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, came in at 1.5 million mt as of Monday November 5, down some 25,000 mt from Thursday November 1, SMM data showed.

Supplies shrank while outflows from social warehouses remained stable and this accounted for the decline in inventories over the weekend.
