Nanjing Iron & Steel blast furnace to undergo four-month maintenance

9월 21일, 고려아연은 74억 달러 규모의 미국 제조 프로젝트가 환경영향평가를 통과했다고 발표했다. 해당 시설은 2029년 시험 가동을 시작해 이듬해 상업 생산에 돌입할 예정이며, 11종의 핵심 광물, 12종의 비철금속 및 반도체급 황산을 생산하게 된다. 고려아연은 지난 4월 현지 아연 제련소 및 관련 기업 인수를 완료했다고 밝힌 바 있다. 회사는 기존 시설의 확장 및 업그레이드를 통해 프로젝트를 추진할 계획이다.

장시구리그룹 산하 JCC훙위안구리의 연산 30만 톤 음극동 확장 프로젝트가 9월 4일 환경영향평가 사전 승인 공시 단계에 들어갔으며, 총투자액은 약 14억 1,600만 위안이다. 이 프로젝트는 2026년 9월 착공하여 2027년 12월 완공될 예정이다. 완공 후 JCC훙위안의 총 생산능력은 25만 톤에서 55만 톤으로 확대된다.
