Flash: Nickel ore port stocks fall 2%

SHANGHAI, Jan 12 (SMM) - Nickel ore inventory at Chinese ports fell to 8.06 million wmt as of Friday January 12, down 140,000 wmt from a week ago, SMM data showed. This amounted to 65,300 mt of nickel metal content, down 1,500 mt. The inventory at seven major ports stood at 5.98 million wmt, down 100,000 wmt from last Friday.
