Baotou City to Output 30,000 Tonnes Rare Earth Magnetic Materials in 2020

SHANGHAI, Nov.17 (SMM)－It is learned that as a heavy industry city, Baotou of Inner Mongolia will strive to output 30,000 tonnes rare earth magnetic materials in 2020. Thereinto high-end products account for over 50%. Comprehensive utilization of light rare earth will reach over 20,000 tonnes with over 50% conversion rate. High-quality and special steel will account for 95%. Aluminium capacity will reach 5 million tonnes. Local processing conversion rate of electrolytic aluminium will reach over 85%.
