Newcrest Mining Restarts Production at Part of Cadia Mine

SHANGHAI, Sept. 13 (SMM) – Australia's Newcrest Mining said on Wednesday it has restarted production at a second part of its Cadia mine. 

The mine was damaged in an earthquake in April, and its gold production reduced by 55 per cent in the June quarter due to the quake.
